Garmin 35 stop button not working

The stop button on my Garmin 35 does not work during a run. It works just fine to start an activity but doesn't respond at all once the activity has started. I have to put it on the charger to clear the screen and it won't save the activity.

I have the same problem. The backlight comes on so it must have noticed the button press, but the activity won’t stop.

First connect Watch to a Computer and Delete All the Fit Files in the /Garmin/Activity Folder only.

If this does Not Fix the Problem Then

Good thoughts, but I have done total resets and the problem persists. I have since bought a 45 which hasn't had any issues, though my son still uses the 35 and it still won't stop every 3rd or 4th run (usually having tried extra hard).

Maybe the Button is Intermittently Faulty (Hardware)
