Hi,
I have an activity from yesterday that is not uploading to Garmin Connect. It usually auto uploads so I attempted a manual sync, but Connect says the .FIT file is an unsupported file type.
Is anyone able to help?
Thanks,
Jack

hi,
run your file through Fit File Tool's section remover
import this fit file manual from within Garmin Connect Web
when this fails
with your consent we can have a look at your file with FitFileRepairTool
zip the fit file and upload here in the forum, or provide a link to it on a cloud storage
do check the ACTIVITY folder on your watch
when containing many fit files, time to backup/clear the ACTIVITY folder

Hi OnlyTwo,
I'm unable to use the Fit File Tool as I have a Mac and believe you need Microsoft to use it.
Would you mind having a look at the file for me? Link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mgo2go2pwvtf6eh/A1CA3023.FIT?dl=0
My watch has approx 50 activities currently stored on it. Would you class this as too many files?
Thanks for your help.
Jack
scrap that I've managed to do it. GPS picked me up and dropped me in the middle of the Atlantic 44km in to the activity, so I've lost the last 6km but at least the majority is there. I don't suppose there's any way to recover that is there?

thank you so much for your help. I'm struggling to get this run to sync between garmin and strava now. Would you happen to know how I can push it across?
