my forerunner 35 mobile shows miles instead of kilometers

I set my watch on units as km's but results after my run shows as miles on my mobile app. How do I get this to be km's??

    I received an email from jeffupin on Sunday 11-10 about a method to switch my Forerunner 35 to give km notifications during my runs (instead of miles notifications).  The first method given in the email, in three simple steps, works.  I was out this evening on a run.  At my normal 1 km point, I felt the familiar vibration indicating that I had run 1 km.  Thanks for the expert advice.

    The three simple steps to switch to km run notifications was this: (all steps were performed on the watch itself). 

    1. Change the units to miles.

    2. Power off the watch, then restart it.

    3. Change the units back to km.

    A second method was given but I did need it since method 1 worked.
