FR25 corrupt FIT file

I can't find a Forerunner 25 forum on here anymore, so hopefully this one will do.

I've been getting an increasing amount of corrupt FIT files recently, increasing from a couple a year to approximately one in ten. Does anyone know why this could be? My FR25 is approaching three years old and I run with it around five times a week. I can only imagine that the GPS chips get worn out after time.

If anyone has the facilities to fix my latest corrupt file, and let me know what was wrong with it, I'd be very grateful. I've tried the online tools but with no success. Thanks in advance.

one corrupt data record and one data record with wonky gps data

do you backup and clear the content of the ACTIVITY folder on the FR25?

Nice one OnlyTwo. You're a top cat. I've read through a few other threads about corrupt files and saw your advice about clearing down the activity folder, which I've now done. I had a successful run this afternoon, so I'll see how it goes. I did have over 250 activities in the folder. Thanks again.

Same problem here. I tried to repair the file online, but the result is a file with wrong GPS position, as if I ran from France to Africa in only 40mins !

Can anybody help me further, I would really appreciate it.

zip the fit file and upload here in the forum, or provide a link to it on a cloud storage
