28.05 broke exactly what it says it fixed.

The 28.05 was supposed to fix missing race events and Garmin Coach plans not be up to date on the device. After applying the update, my upcoming events were removed and my current plans reset to week 1 on my watch while the app still shows week 15.

srnicker Hey! Please try removing the watch from the Connect app then remove the glance on the watch (Coach Glance, Race Calendar, Primary Race) that you are looking at, then re-pair the watch in the Connect app. Once it is reconnected then add the glance back on the watch and check to see if that helped.

If you still need help, please update the thread on what you are seeing now and if this fixed the missing races or the Coach Plan not being updated.

Every firmware release on last year, have the same issue, I post many times, race calendar don't show races on watch.

The unique solution that I found it's go to calendar and resend to watch any race... a pain...

This issue it's very old [28.05] - Race Calendar - Same issue since firmware 17.24 and never fixed, every firmware update the same, go to garmin connect app, find race and resend to watch...

Gustavo.B We have seen success with trying the troubleshooting steps above. If it doesn't help, it would be helpful to know after trying those steps what you are seeing within the widget.

When I installed firmware update 28.05, all of the races disappeared from both race calendar widgets on the watch: the Primary Race widget and the Race Calendar widget.

At that point, I had to open Garmin Connect, find the races in the calendar, and send them to the watch again.

So now my races are back on the watch, just as they were before the update. Because of that, I can't follow the steps you suggested, as I won't see any difference.

I've had to do this after several firmware updates already.

Hopefully, if there is another firmware update in the future, I won't have to go through this process again.
