Forerunner 235 stopped working

Had a CT Scan the other day and either coincidentally or as a result my Forerunner 235 stopped working immediately after it.

All I get now is what appears to be a firmware menu with the version and some configuration readings displayed. No ability to interact at all and of course no way to get to settings to reset.

Tried the hard reset options but getting nowhere.

Feels like I've lost the operating system software somehow but I can find no way to reload it.

Anyone come across this before and have any suggestions?

That stinks, I just bought one of these deciding if i need to return it and find something else, but i guess they all do die at some point!

I have got about 4 good years out of it but it was otherwise still working well until this and was hoping it would not be the end. I wouldn't let this put you off as I can't find others with the same problem and when working it's a great watch.
