GPS Issue - Forerunner 235

I have the same issue after about 3 years. Suddenly the time was wrong. Found that it could not find GPS signal any more. Tried everything: soft reset, hard reset, connect by PC. Nothing works. I also think the GPS chipset is broken. Glonas also not working. Only the first little bar is blinking, even after hours. Think I have to buy a new one. Very frustrating. Will be missing some runs until I have one.

Good Day, I am currently having the same issues as you did this morning with my Garmin FR 235. Did the watch re-set itself? I currently have turned it off, because it was just frustrating to have the wrong time, no GPS, and a watch that was just not working. I realize I am a bit spoiled, because the watch can do so much, but it is also quite disappointing. If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them.

Same problem. Wrong time. Went for a run yesterday. My FR235 took an usually long time to acquire GPS. Over 30 minutes. You might want to give it anothe try... PS. Once it did sync, time was correct!
