Optical Sensor wont switch off, draining batter

Since three days my Forerunner 235 Optical Heart Rate Sensor (green light) wont switch off and as such draining batter in no time. I did several soft and hard/factory resets but nothing works. Any idea/tips what can be done?

Does this also happen if you don't have any watchfaces, widgets, apps and datafields installed?

Latest firmware is installed? If so or if the update doesn't help you should contact Garmin Service.

I did. They said i should conrtact the german support but cant find any email of the german team.

Wie gut der funktioniert, kann ich Dir leider nicht sagen. Ich hatte damals so viel ich weiß über FB Kontakt wegen des vergilbten Displays der 235 (hat meine 735 inzwischen auch bekommen...), allerdings bekam ich da zu hören, daß das ja nicht die Funktion einschränkt... Nachdem es noch schlimmer wurde, bin ich mit der Uhr zum Elektronikmarkt. Die schickten sie ein, ein paar Wochen später bekam ich eine neue 235. Die liegt hier noch immer OVP, da ich mir am Tag des Einschickens eine 735 aus dem Markt mitnahm wegen des bevorstehenden Halbmarathons.
