Hello,

I don't think so, because Gaming Activity isn't in any Forerunner Series but only on Fenix Series. Too bad, it's the only activity lacking for me to be perfect.

Why does the forerunner 170 reset itself during run mode?

Odd one. During run mode if I press the down button multiple times to the end, the watch resets itself !

I've done soft reset and have latest software. Still same issue. Have not tried other sports though.

I just did hard reset.

Problem continues. Going to contact Customer Sevice.

(Data screens are the standard ones, did not alter them)

Ah, so just scrolling through the data screens. What screens do you have set up? Just trying to get info so that if Garmin sees this they can investigate. I suggest you also contact customer support, so it gets logged properly.

ok: Run setting

Initiate run

Press down button (bottom left hand button)

Press down again to scroll down, and on fifth press it resets.

Could you describe the sequence to do this? What buttons did you press and what screens did you see? Does it always happen?
