The first ideas that come to my mind are vise grips (needle nose if necessary) or maybe those reverse-threaded bolt breakers you can get to take stuck lug nuts off your car. Also suggest you spray WD-40 in there to help loosen up what might have stuck it there in the first place. If you happen to be running a 135mm rear axle width (CX bikes, usually), then I'd suggest upgrading to Garmin's 10x135mm kit and a 10mm bolted through axle (like a DT-Swiss RDS) - it holds the bike more solidly than the 5mm levers.

Forum Post: Neo 2T Loud noise when riding on cobbles on Zwift

forums.garmin.com/.../WhatsApp-Video-2026_2D00_04_2D00_03-at-12.32.28.mp4 When riding on cobbles on Zwift my Neo 2T makes this awful sound, when on tar again it goes away. Adjust your Garmin course recorder to 1 data point per second ( 1 Hz ). Plan your route and ride it as slow as you can. More data points gets better gradient accuracy. On short climbs and drops such as canal bridges, get off and walk slowly to get at least 10 points on the slope. Save the Track. On Garmin Connect, rename the activity. Export to 'Downloads' folder. Move to another folder for the Garmin Tracks. Import into Basecamp. Delete out unwanted points at the start to get you pointing in the correct compass direction. Delete out the points where you were stopped. Export to a Folder for '1 Hz Trimmed' Basecamp Tracks. I just spoke with Garmin and they can get FIT files from Connect with permission, so I pointed them to simultaneous recordings from my Edge 840 connected with ANT+ and AppleTV (running MyWhoosh) connected with BTLE. My real problem with the cadence spikes is it messes with MyWhoosh avatar rendering, otherwise I'd simply ignore them. MyWhoosh is running on AppleTV connected to my Polar H10 and Tacx with BTLE, and since the hardware only supports two BTLE connections, I'd have to choose between my HRM and my Wahoo Cadence sensor - that's a compromise I shouldn't have (and am unwilling) to make for a system that's worked fine since they released it. Their support is excellent. They broke it, and I trust they'll figure out how to fix it. In the meantime, they sent me a link to 2.6.0 which I'll revert to and hope it's not in that release.

Forum Post: RE: Cadence inestability TACX NEO 2T

Hi Garmin - DC I sent you all the answers and the serial number 3 weeks ago, but I have no aditional response. The last few rides I started noticing some odd feelings through the left pedal. The pedal (pretty old) had a little play in the bearings but not completely shot, but I noticed the LH crank had some lateral movement so I pulled it off to inspect. Turns out that the splines in the crank arm have worn to almost smooth over time. After navigating many levels deep on Garmin's support page, I found a chat feature, explained the issue, and asked how to order a new crank arm. The support rep responded that the 3 hole crank was obsolete, but the 5 hole design from the Neo Bike Plus is a direct fit and set up a no charge order to send it to me with the install hardware kit. I was fully expecting to pay for it so this was a nice surprise. This was Monday and I received the package Wednesday. I haven't had time to install the new arm yet, but just opened the package to prepare to, and noticed that the new arm is redesigned to mimic the Shimano 2 opposing pinch bolt design! There is a lot less material around the splined hole too, so the combination should clamp to the spindle much better.

Forum Post: RE: Loose pedal fixer

I can't believe I have been riding with a loose pedal on and off for the past 2 years.
