Unfortunately the bolt holding the body in place got damaged. Does anyone know where I can order it or has a spare which I can buy? This a photo from the non-damaged part. I'm also in touch with Garmin support.

As an owner of the original TACX I am feeling a bit left out by the lack of support for virtual shifting. Garmin, are there any plans to make this available. There is no technical reason for it not to work and several developers have made workarounds. This feels more like planned obsolescence rather than anything else. Please advise.
Zwift and Rouvy use the Virtual shifting library (Zwift propietary).

Tacx released a firmware upgrade for recent Tacx trainer (not for Neo1) for compatibility with this. To use with Neo 1 you need Tacx-Dongle-VS.

Mywhoosh instead, send a modified gradient to the trainer according to virtual gear selection. For this reason it works even with Neo 1 as is (you don't need anything else).

RE: Tacx Neo 1 virtual shifting

Does this also works with MyWhoosh?

Display size

How do I increase the display size?

Have Tacx Neo T2800 connected to Edge 1050 via ANT+

Run a workout in ERG mode from the Edge

Observe the Training is working well

Stop cycling for a few seconds (Doesn't matter if you pause the training or not)

Observe the ERG power not being stable after resuming cycling

Specifically, I get a brief spike in resistance every few seconds, as if you suddenly slammed the brakes completely.

There's no rythm to the spike timing, it seems to be between 10 and 60 seconds between spikes but random every time

Conditions:

This ONLY happens in ERG mode, all other modes are fine

This ONLY happens when controlling the Tacx via an Edge, not when using the Tacx android app

This ONLY happens after I stopped cycling for a bit

I do not get any message about disconnects etc.

SOMETIMES it seems to be fine again after setting the Tacx to Grade mode for a minute and then going back to ERG

Turning off all other ANT+ devices, unlinking any other sensors from the Edge, and having Bluetooth disconnected from my Tacx training app phone doesn't change anything

You can use a monitor, with all the bells and whistles and connect the roku/firestick there as well, or run an HDMI cable from the laptop to there, but typically they are more expensive than a TV.
Unfortunately when moving house my Tacx neo 2 has been damaged and the female power inlet has been smashed. Is there anyway to fix this or is the turbo now scrap? I have tried plugging it in but nothing happens.

I haven't been up the "Bonus Climb" since that day. I've done many of the other big climbs in Zwift ("The Grade" for one) without any problems, but most of the others are "paved". Since it's summer I don't do much Zwifting (none would be perfect, but alas the weather hasn't cooperated), so it may be until November until I find myself on the "Bonus Climb" again.

Other than that, the virtual shifting experience has been fantastic and road feel is pretty normal compared to the pre-virtual days. The only improvement I'd like to see is that I get to choose my "cassette", but that's probably something Zwift has to do. Gear 1 is low enough for the most part, although being able to choose a smaller gear would be nice. Gear 24 is way too high, and most of the upper range is just useless. I'd prefer closer spacing.

I'll try the Tacx app sometime. It was how I had my first experience with road feel, so I've used it before.
