La unica forma de poder hacer la ruta que cargue, fue con mi Garmin asociado y enlazar el Ciclocomputador con el Rodillo, pero lo malo es que no emula la pendiente de la ruta ... seguimos mal ... creo que me saldre de la suscripcion.

hi everyone,

I have a Tacx Flow trainer and an active annual Tacx Premium subscription. I use the Tacx Training app on an iPad and I also have the Windows desktop app. I'm trying to ride my own GPX route, but I can't find any way to load it.

What I tried:

1. Uploaded the GPX as a course in Garmin Connect (web, from my Windows PC). It does not show up in the Tacx Training app on the iPad. As far as I can tell, only scheduled workouts sync from Garmin Connect, not courses.
2. An older answer from a Garmin moderator on this forum says to import the file at cloud.tacx.com/ and then find it under New Ride > GPS > My GPS Rides. That address now just redirects me to the Subscription & Settings page, and the only menu items on Tacx Cloud are Subscription & Settings and Support (screenshot attached).
3. The older app descriptions listed "Import your Strava routes or create GPS workouts" as a Premium feature, but I can't find that line in the current store listings.

My questions:

- Is anyone currently able to import their own GPX routes into the Tacx Training app (iPad, Mac, Windows or Android)? If yes, where and how?
- Does anyone know if Garmin officially removed this feature? Is there an announcement or date?
- If it is gone, what are you using instead to ride your own routes with a Tacx trainer?

Good point. We need to be reimbursed for the portion of our subscription that we paid for and is now completely useless to us. Definite breach of contract. We paid for a service, and now Garmin is no longer providing the service we paid for.

Firstly I can confirm that existing Tacx GPS are not supported as all my GPS rides uploaded and ridden before have ALL been removed and cannot be accessed. As per the other user the ability to ride My personal GPS routes was the only reason I paid for the premium subscription. I propose to now end my premium subscription and will seek to be reimbursed for the future months I have already paid for. I believe Garmin should have informed subscribers about its decision to remove the personal GPS routes before doing so rather than paying customers having to ask why they can no longer use imported GPS routes. Poor customer care to say the least if not breach of contract of contract.

Thank you for the response. Very disappointing decision, and I hope Garmin reconsiders. This is a crucial feature for those athletes looking to train on specific local routes. It is literally the ONLY reason I paid for a premium subscription, so I have canceled my renewal. Would happily re-subscribe if you reinstate this feature. My existing Tacx GPS route (that has been in the Tacx app for several years) was deleted, so I am confused by the statement that existing Tacx GPS rides remain supported. It is clearly NOT the case.

Thank you all for taking the time to report this! I can confirm that the My GPS Rides/Import GPX feature has been discontinued. Existing Tacx GPS rides remain supported, but the ability to import new GPX routes has been removed.

Hi. The Indoor-Season started and I have the same issue. Neither via Iphone App nor WIndows Desktop App this feature seems to be available. To me it is crucial to prepare for challenges and events next year. I need this feature. If any one of Garmin is involved or reading this, could you please clarify or better introduce this feature again?
I am still missing an ohter feature to overlay a downloaded film over the workout screen like it was available 2-3 years ago and now it seem's the upload GPS feature has been removed as well.

Same issue. Used to have a GPS ride uploaded on my TacX app. Have had a premium account for years. Now my GPS ride is gone and I get the same error as you trying to re-upload

Same issue. I have had a premium account for years, had a GPS route uploaded that I rode often from my iPad, logged in the other day and my route was “POOF”…….gone 😞 Getting sent to the settings menu repeatedly as you are trying to follow their directions to upload. There is no “import-file” menu. It seems to have happened when they “gave” me some free upgrade to HD. I don’t need HD. I need my saved GPS route back. So frustrating. Won’t continue to pay for premium if they can’t support uploading my own GPX from my own Garmin device.

I’m experiencing the same problem in the last few days. The gpx routes I previously used suddenly refuse to download. Have you found out an answer as to why this has happened or what the fix is.

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe meinen Tacx Flow Smart mit meinem Cervélo Rennrad (Scheibenbremsen, Steckachse) aufgebaut und bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob alles richtig montiert ist.

Nach einigen Versuchen sitzt das Rad jetzt mittig im Trainer und der Reifen läuft sauber auf der Rolle. Die Steckachse ist vollständig eingeschraubt und fest angezogen. Allerdings bin ich unsicher, ob die Adapter bzw. Distanzhülsen korrekt montiert sind und ob das Ganze so aussehen muss.

Könnt ihr euch bitte die Bilder ansehen und mir sagen, ob die Montage korrekt aussieht oder ob euch etwas auffällt?

Climbpro used to give an accurate view of timeto completion. Accurate in the sense it used current power numbers to calculate remaining time required at that power. For last 9 months or so it has been way out, always under estimating time to complete the climb

eg cant paste the file, doing Luz Adiden climb, at lowwatts, 300+ m climb remaining, eta of 3 minutes

Ok for future reference I figured the problem out.. or at least.. AI did ;)

Root Cause (final)

AntService.exe crashes because WMI event subscriptions are broken on your system

Specifically:

AntService tries to create a WMI watcher for Win32_PnPEntity
WMI throws WBEM_E_INVALID_CLASS
AntService doesn’t catch the exception
.NET aborts the process
Tacx shuts down seconds later

This is 100% deterministic and reproducible.

Why reinstalling Tacx alone does NOT fix it

Tacx ships AntService as a packaged Windows App
The crash happens before any Tacx code can recover
The problem is in Windows WMI, not the app

That’s why:

Reinstalls don’t help
Driver updates alone don’t help
Tacx closes “mysteriously”

✅ Correct Fix (Do This — In Order)

1️⃣ Repair WMI (mandatory)

Open Command Prompt as Administrator:

If it says inconsistent (likely):

Reboot.

2️⃣ If AntService still crashes → reset WMI

Reboot again.

⚠️ This is safe and commonly used by Microsoft support.

3️⃣ Rebuild WMI performance counters (often required on Win 11 24H2)

Then:

Reboot.

Shortly after starting the desktop app it keeps closing on me as if scripted after connecting to a profile server or something like that. Tried about everything to resolve this; repair app, reset app, reinstall app, disable Windows Defender etc etc.

Never has done this before for the last so many years.

How do I find my favourites and downloads in the TacX Desktop App?

I used to be able to apply a filter on the Movies tab to show just favourites or downloads. But after a summer away that option has disappeared!

I am always downloading the movies (Windows desktop), and selected the movie quality where I'm paying for (720p), and then I saw which movies I haven't downloaded yet, but it seems that the filter on movie quality is gone and I can't see anymore which movies I still need to download

I have a similar issue. I went to use a downloaded movie, and the app can't find it. I point the app to the folder(d:/Tacx), and it spins forever before it finally gives up and says it cannot find the any movied in the folder.

Thanks, I found this (option 2/3). It's a shame there's no easy way to see all of my downloads though. There is a similar list of downloads but I haven't downloaded any of the movies it lists! Option 4 doesn't work, I don't have a menu as you describe. Anyway it's all moot now as the Desktop App won't connect with my trainer, and I've tried everything Garmin support suggested. So I'm on the Android app now

You should be able to view your favorites by following these steps:

Open the Tacx Desktop app.
Navigate to the "Movies" tab in the left-hand sidebar.
From the options displayed, select the "Favorites" filter to see all your favorited movies.
You can also find your favorites by looking for the "Favorites" option within the menu on the right-hand side of the dashboard screen

If you are not able to see this, please share some screen shots of what you are seeing.
