I had over 5 days of battery life. We finally see a new firmware update rolling out, and after all the bugs people have been reporting, the update notes basically amount to some vague “heart rate sensor improvements.” Seriously? CIRQA needs a proper software update focused on fixing bugs and improving the basic user experience. The alarm issue alone is ridiculous. My CIRQA can keep buzzing even when the alarm should be stopped. I keep pressing to stop it and it continues vibrating. I have also had alarms behave incorrectly around days off. An alarm is supposed to be one of the most basic and reliable functions of a wearable. Instead, it has literally woken me up because the device refuses to stop buzzing. Then there is Garmin Connect. The app already feels outdated and unreliable, and now I regularly see inconsistent data between the dashboard and the actual metric pages. For example, the home screen might show my Sleep Score as 80, then I open the sleep page and it says 78. I refresh and sync, and the numbers can still be different. Which number am I supposed to trust? If Garmin Connect cannot consistently display the same data across its own screens, that seriously damages confidence in the entire experience. CIRQA itself also still feels unfinished. There are bugs, inconsistent behavior, syncing problems and basic usability issues that should have been addressed before worrying about tiny improvements. We need an ACTUAL CIRQA firmware update with a proper changelog: Fix the alarm that keeps vibrating after being dismissed. Fix alarm/day-off behavior. Fix Garmin Connect showing different values on the dashboard versus individual metric pages. Improve syncing reliability. Fix the existing CIRQA stability and usability bugs. Clearly explain what was changed instead of giving us vague one-line release notes. Nobody is saying heart-rate improvements aren’t important. Improve the sensor, absolutely. But when the basic software experience is this buggy, releasing a vague minor update without addressing or even acknowledging these issues is frustrating. Garmin, CIRQA is supposed to be a premium health and fitness product. The software needs to match that. I did structured run with my Garmin forerunner while wearing my Cirqa. Both run activities landed in Strava. One from the auto detected run with no GPS data.. So if I go for a structured run, I will need to remove my Cirqa. This is becoming complicated. Garmin connect knows the duplicate and should only send data from my primary device to Strava.
