It doesn't breathe well and takes too long to dry when wet, which causes skin irritation. I’m using it in Spain, where it’s currently hot and humid. For comparison, I also regularly wear a standard nylon strap on my Garmin Forerunner, and I have zero issues with it. The stock CIRQA band material definitely needs an upgrade.

Forum Post: Unexplained Night Vibration & Alarm Bugs on CIRQA

I’ve noticed that the CIRQA smart band sometimes vibrates randomly during the night for no obvious reason. For instance, today it went off around 4:00 AM, even though my alarm was set for much later. Additionally, the alarm setup feature in the Garmin Connect app for CIRQA feels unstable and buggy. It definitely needs further testing and refinement from the software team.

Forum Post: Feature Request: Offline Sync for CIRQA with Garmin Connect

There should be an option to sync the CIRQA smart band with the Garmin Connect app offline when there is no internet access. For example, when hiking in remote mountain areas without cellular service, it is currently impossible to sync the device to check vital metrics like resting heart rate or blood oxygen saturation, not to mention other health tracking data. The lack of offline sync severely limits the usefulness of the device in off-grid scenarios. Please consider adding local offline synchronization.

Forum Post: Opt out of Always allow location in Garmin Connect iOS

it seems like by pairing the Cirqa to my iPhone Garmin Connect now requires always sharing location even if I never intend to use my phone as the GPS (I will run with my Fenix 8). Can this be an opt in setting in a future update? I'd like to share a reflection that I hope can reach your product team. It puzzles me that the menstrual cycle isn't factored into your readiness metrics like Body Battery. For many menstruating women, the cycle phase is one of the strongest and most predictable drivers of energy, sleep and recovery. Personally, I'm far more affected by my luteal phase than by getting two hours too little sleep — yet this isn't reflected in my Body Battery at all, because the number is based purely on HRV, stress and sleep, and not on where I am in my cycle. I'm aware of the argument that hormonal influence varies from person to person and is hard to measure. But that same argument has historically been used to keep the female body out of research — for decades, women of childbearing age were effectively excluded from clinical drug trials, precisely on the grounds that the cycle "complicated" the data. The fact that something is difficult to collect doesn't mean it matters less. Quite the opposite. And it doesn't have to become a purely subjective assessment. A structured score from 1–10 for, say, fatigue or symptoms is real, validated data that clinical research works with every day. Combined with your objective HRV, heart rate and sleep data, it would give a more robust picture — not a less accurate one. The same applies to autoimmune conditions. Around eight out of ten people with an autoimmune disease are women, and for us a flare-up often means readiness swings dramatically with no visible explanation in the current metrics. The ability to log symptoms or flare-ups in a structured way — and have that feed into readiness — would make a real difference. Finally, there's an obvious opportunity in the guidance itself: a watch genuinely designed with the female body in mind could give far better direction on what type of sport and what intensity suits the phase you're in. That wouldn't just be innovative — it would open a large market and close a real gap for the many women who want to live healthily but are currently measured against a standard that is fundamentally calibrated to the male body. I'm sharing this because I care about the product and would like to be able to use it to its full potential. I hope you'll take it into account in your future development. Kind regards, Trille

Forum Post: RE: regularly need to reconnect device..

Hi KS I have to pair the vs5 to my Android phone again, for it won't reconnect. The vivosmart 5 should automatically reconnect with the Garmin Connect app whenever it comes back within Bluetooth range of your phone. For example, are you having to pair the device again, or does it simply stop connecting to Garmin Connect until you manually reconnect it?
