Set the sleep schedule to reflect your working hours Do not set a sleep schedule - although you mentioned that the ISM forces you to set one. Did the no sleep data just happen the one time? The one time that I had this happen to me I did not sync the ISM properly. I turned the ISM on, put it on, and then just went to bed. I did not check to see that the ISM sync'd properly. I also cannot recall if I felt the ISM buzz three times to let me know if it was working. If you do have to set a sleep schedule, there is a way to tell the ISM not to follow it. I think this is what I have done. Either that or just not put a sleep schedule in there. I'll have to check. Hope this helps.

Forum Post: RE: Issues with Heart Rate during workouts

While the heart rate tracking can be frustrating at times, you can't blame Garmin for your purchasing a watch without an altimiter.

Forum Post: RE: After a workout always get this bug.

Just found it kind of odd that its always after an workout. Garmin support refused to help and said there was nothing wrong with it even though I compared it to my old apple watch multiple times and that managed to capture the HR peaks. Garmin support basically said just deal with it because that's how their wrist HR sensors are and then tried to claim their watches are meant for more intense workouts rather lifting weights where HR spikes and comes back down, despite being advertised as "fitness" watches not cardio watches.

Forum Post: RE: Autodetect FTP?

Same problem here. I go to bed as usual, 20 minutes or so later the ISM will randomly buzz. I wake up in the morning, and the ISM refuses to connect to my iPhone. I try various things to force a connection, but nothing works and I have to remove and re-add the ISM through Garmin Connect. All sleep schedule and alarm settings are wiped because they don't appear to be backed up anywhere, and no data syncs from the night before. Luckily, it does appear the sleep data is saved on the device and I've been able to use my PC and Garmin Express to get it synced. Latest versions of ISM firmware, Garmin Connect, and iOS. If the Bluetooth MAC is changing as others have suggested this would explain the behavior, so I've begun a log of my ISMs MAC address. Does Garmin use Bluetooth MAC randomization in their products, and if so... why?

Forum Post: RE: Issues with Heart Rate during workouts

Did you find a solution? When I use the watch to control music playing on my iPhone: * Pressing the volume down button once causes the volume to continue decreasing by itself until it reaches zero. * Pressing the volume up button briefly increases the volume, but then it immediately drops back to the previous level. The issue only occurs when adjusting the volume from the watch. If I change the volume directly on my iPhone, it works normally. I have already tried: * Restarting both the watch and the iPhone. * Updating both devices to the latest software. * Removing and re-pairing the Bluetooth connection. * Testing with different music apps. None of these steps resolved the issue. Could you please advise whether this is a known issue or if there is a fix available?
