Connect app was open on the iPhone The start of the run did a right angle from the trail then doubled backed to curve onto my actual path. I realize this was the time that my iPhone was obtaining a sat fix. However, the Fitbit air has never presented this issue are similar runs. This is a rail-to-trail run in the a rural region — so no SAT signal obstruction either So, do I need to make sure to open a map app prior to a run to insure an accurate sat fix? If so, kind of defeats the push (the button) and go. How is the Fitbit air handling connected GPS differently to get seemingly better tracking results?
