Vivosport swimming

I just used my vivosport for swimming. It was a very slow and gentle swim but my stress levels were showing as very high and now it's struggling to register the stress reading at all.. Has the water messed it up?! It's advertised as waterproof.

Use the warranty, maybe it's just a factory defect, for me I just want to walk to work , keep track of steps at work , I walk a lot , hike on weekends , keep track of calories , and the idea of sleep tracking sounds cool and monitoring heart.
