GPS tracking

Hello,

I would like to buy this watch for my daughter 11 years old, are we going to be able to track her while she is away with the GPS if I install the Garmin app on my phone ?

The vivosport has the LiveTrack feature, which allows to trace the user over internet (garmin app is NOT required for that), but in order for it to work you daughter would have to start a timed GPS-based activity on the watch (which drains battery pretty fast), and she would have to keep the phone with her, with internet connection.

Thanks for your answer, do you know if there is any Garmin watch that could do that without the need to have your mobile phone with you ?

There is no such garmin.
