Am I the only one who is really annoyed and disgruntled that the premium Vivosport device I own, which is still officially within its support lifecycle, is not getting a body battery feature update?
What is the reason for this? :(

The Body Battery is a third party feature developed by First Beat and licensed by Garmin. That means that Garmin has to pay a fee whenever they add this feature to one of their devices, and that makes it unlikely that those expensive to license features will be backported to older devices.
That's why Garmin rarely does it. Exceptions are known, like stress score at the Fenix 5 or the body battery at the Instinct (function added to the beta, we´ĺl have to wait if Garmin adds it to the stable release.
