I was out for a 1/2 marathon with only my Fenix and left my vivosport at home. after the run I switched back to vivosport only. Within connect and connect mobile i saw the 20000 steps for the 1/2 marathon, but they were not synced to the vivosport and it started with a few steps only. The new ones earned with the vivosport during the day were not added to the 20000.

by the way I forced a firmware reinstall, disconnected the unit from connect and connect mobile, set up everything again, did a factory reset and deleted it out of my account.

i know that it worked before, i guess garmin screwed up their software again. P.s. simular behaviour is reported for the vivosmart 4.

by the way.. syncing into the other direction works fine... starting with the vivosport and later turning on the Fenix. The steps are synced from vivosport to connect and then to the Fenix 5x+
