My vivosmart 5 was exhibiting no problems at all, until after v3.32 was automatically installed. Battery life went from 1 week downto 1.5 days. I went for a 30 minute walk and it shows I walked 30 minutes and a distance of 0ft. The worst part is the display is misaligned after I scroll to another menu. Then to top it off, Garmin Support wants me to buy a new device to fix it. SW 3.32 install broke my device and so somehow that's my fault?
I never asked for a new device. I just want my vivosmart5 fixed. Is there a way to rollback the update or reflash the firmware? Garmin Support says an update could not cause my issue. The update may not have but a bad installation easily could. I tried the following but to no avail:
- Cycle power multiple times
- Reset settings and data
- Allowed battery to deplete
Garmin needs to fix my device. It was perfectly fine prior to update v3.32.
