Steps from yesterday are missing

When I synced my device this morning, everything synced except the full count of my steps. It looks like my tracker just stopped working around Noon, but my watch was working all evening and I was well over my step goal. Any ideas on how to fix? I’ve scanned the forum and I’ve tried multiple syncs, rebutting my phone, connecting my watch to the computer.
