How to make band always discoverable over Bluetooth

Recently upgraded to Vivosmart 4 and can't find an option on the device or in Connect. I use this feature for presence detection in my smart home setup.

Is it even possible?

I don't think it is possible. It will drain a battery

Read up a bit and realised that the thing I need is BLE advertisement, which is not too hard on the battery.
