When I take a break on a walk or hike, I would like to stop the activity and resume it when I want. But the Auto Save function only gives you one minute before it saves so I would like to be able to disable it.

I would also really appreciate to be able to disable the auto save. It’s really annoying to need to dismiss it repeatedly. And I would like to pause the tracking while I am sitting somewhere but know that…
Any updates on this? I am facing the same issue and it is kind of annoying.
Totally agree on that. It's fairly anoying!

Hello Garmin!
Please improve this and don't save automatically a part of the track. My Vivosport is only working reliable, when we don't make a brake during a bike ride. This is bad usability.
By the way, you have a feature to trim tracks which are to long, but none to merge ripped apart tracks. So even when we could turn off auto save and also miss to save a track (unlikely), we can always fix it by trimming the track. We cannot if an auto pause cut it off. Currently I have to import the tracks on Linux, use gpsbabel and merge the tracks manually:
