Gestures not working

I just for a new Vivosmart and I find that the gestures are not working to view the watch face. I know how it should work, as it seems to be OK after the first sync for an hour each morning. After that, nothing? What the heck is going on?

I finally opened a report on this and they sent me a new unit. The new unit seems to ave the same issue - gestures work when I wake and then stop mid morning. It appears they may be stopping at the time my alarm goes off but i only have one day's data.

Can anyone else confirm that they have a morning alarm and gestures still work after the alarm?

I just received mine as a gift today and having trouble with gesture as well. at first it wasn't working then about an hour after it started to work then I set a morning alarm and now it's not working again!

very frustrating. I dont want this device if I have to tap it whevever I want to see the time.

unfortunately, from the research Ive been doing, it seems like this is a common fault with majority of vivosmart 4.

Same here. The question is, will Garmin fix this with an update anytime soon?

Seconds after I posted this, it started working. I wish my kids were that quick when I complain.
