Random ending of bike rides in 2.63

I get completely random ends to bike rides in 2.63. It is very frustrating, I did not have this in 2.5 but is now pretty much every time I start a ride, it will end at random times from 2 minutes to 50 minutes or anywhere in between, A few times I have tapped to reconnect and restart the ride the hands swing to completely the wrong time and stay there. Can I downgrade to 2.5? This version is awful

I think the issue is random disconnects from bluetooth on andriod devices. since 2.63 as I can't sync half the time because of random disconnects, never once had that on 2.5

had the same on 2.65 looks like a firmware update is very needed, hope garming fixes this, from 2.63 it's a disaster
