Sleep tracking vivomove style

I have been sleeping for a week with my vivomove style but i noticed its really not accurate. As soon as i lay in my bed it states i am sleeping. Also when i stay in bed after awaking or gee in bed at night to watch a movie or read it registers it as sleeping while i am clearly awake. What can i do to improve sleep tracking?

  • Nothing. The watch seems to use a combination of movement and time of day to determine whether you're sleeping or not. For the same reason it doesn't detect naps during the day. You can only correct the sleep time in Connect to fix this. Which sucks btw, because one reason to buy such a watch is to get accurate health data without having to check and fix it every day.
