Hi all,
it seems that since the update to 3.90 (Vivomove Style), the watch is not providing an estimate of VO2max during running activities. Before the update, the watch would provide an estimate for all the runs. Is this a known issue?
Thanks!

After the update to 3.90 I had a problem with my Style no longer recording Body Battery values. After two nights of Body Battery flat lining to almost zero, I reset the watch, removed it from the Garmin…
Hey there!! My apologies, we missed this thread of posting by accident. We just posted them for you!
Thanks Amber, I appreciate the follow-up. Considering that even deleting all files in the watch did not fix this, I am afraid that whatever it is it will require another firmware update. In the meantime, any hope that perhaps the software can be rolled back to the previous version using Garmin Express?
Hey! Unfortunately, no we can not roll back. I am going to see if I can get any more updates tomorrow and touch base with you if I do!
Thanks again Amber, very kind of you to reply so quickly and at this late hour. You rock
Sure thing! Have a great night, we will be in touch!
Hi Amber, thanks a lot for the updates so far, do you have any news regarding this issue? Thanks!
Garmin-AmberD, this is great news, thanks for the update. Have a nice weekend!
Checked today with Garmin Support. There will be a fix to be included in a future firmware update, but no timeline yet for release . Very annoying, considering that with the better weather I am running outdoor more often and VO2 Max is a useful metric to track my progress.
Thanks for the update, Batman! I agree, it's quite frustrating, and I am really looking forward to the new firmware. In the meanwhile, have you tried syncing your garmin data with runalyze? it has a few nice analysis tools, including an estimate of the VO2Max from the running data (pace/HR). Surely not perfect, but at least you can track your progress :)
