My distance is recording incorrectly on Vivomove hr.

For example on a 4kms run today it recorded 5.3kms. How do I fix it? Also should there be a gps function? My maps do not show up.

The device estimates the distance using the steps counter and the average stride length. You may need to adjust the step length in the user settings. See the details in the manual:
