Vivoactive HR does not track distance while skiing. Time was tracked. Can anyone help?

Used my vivoactive hr while skiing and it tracked the time but not the distance. ANyone help to fix this?

Hi there! What activity profile did you use? Did you lock on to GPS before starting the activity?

I was on the skiing activity. It tracked my time but not distance. I can’t actually say if I locked onto a go’s signal or not

Ok, the device would need to lock on to the GPS before, that is likely what happened.
