Vivomove HR syncing with Android

I brought a Vivomove HR a few weeks ago. Everything was working great and I was receiving text notifications from my phone etc.  Up until a few days ago the app constantly shuts down and disconnects the Bluetooth setting from my phone and I am no longer receiving text notifications on my watch. I have disconnected, restored, reinstalled, changed all the settings, turned bluetooth on and off and have selected Do Not Optimize in my phones battery settings to keep the Garmin Connect App running in the backgrounds. Nothing is working and i am becoming very frustrated. I don't want to continually have to open the app to have the phone sync. Even doing this does not allow me to receive text notifications. Can someone please help me?
