Vivofit jr. wristband skin reaction

My son is getting a skin reaction from the vivofit jr wristband. We make sure he is taking it of every night but still has a problem with skin irritation. My other son has no problem with it. Do you have any other replacement bands (leather?) or any different material? Or do you have any other suggestions? He loves his watch.

We are sorry to hear about the issue you are reporting. The skin irritation may be a result of build-up on the watch band and/or casing. You should discontinue wearing your watch until your skin has healed…

My son faces the same issue, are there any plans for Garmin to develop not silicone based watch straps for the vivofit jr3 range?

No I haven’t contacted support, I have had numerous Garmin watches myself and never had any issues. My son also used to have a jr2 but that had a third party wristband with it and he never had any issues so a bit surprised that a genuine Garmin band would cause issues on a device specifically designed for children.

Hello, i have two of the Garmin vivofit jr. 2 i got for my 5 and 7 year old and they are having the same problem. Do you sell or have a different band they can use?

we bought the Marvel Spider-Man and Disney Princess, Pink Feb 10, 2021.

I'm in a town called South Elgin right outside of Chicago IL USA
