Vivofit 4 pairing failed

I tried to re-pair my garmin vivofit 4 to my phone and garmin connect app prompt pairing failed. 

The syncing icon on the garmin device stops before completing the pairing progress bar. 

  • I had to replace my  batteries.   Since then I no longer have have any of the functions and cannot pair my device.  I have tried all of the recommended solutions to no avail

    Hello! What phone are you trying to pair the watch to?

    Please reply with the following:

    1) May we, if necessary, have permission to email you?

    2) May we, if necessary, have permission to view/access your Garmin Connect account?

    3) In what country do you live?
