Hi, the vivofit 3 could connect to the Heart Rate Strap, is this feature missing from the vivofit 4? How would one combine HR measuring with the activity using garmin devices?
From my understanding the answer is yes; the feature is missing in Vivofit 4. You would need to use another Garmin device to capture heart rate. Come to think of it, this and the Garmin Swim watch are the only sport activity devices made be Garmin which do not capture heart rate. Its one of the reasons I have not upgraded my Vivofit 2. It does what I want; count steps, monitor sleep and it captures my heart rate when I want it to.
