Example... I've been running on a treadmill with a broken display for the past month. I did my best to run at what felt like a pace of 10min/mile. I would do 25 minute runs, but it would estimate that I only ran 1.4 miles. And since the display is broken, I can't enter any treadmill calibration.
But the weird thing is that the other day, I did an outdoor GPS run for 25 mins for the first time in over a month, and then last night, on my treadmill run, it estimated 2.5 miles for the same time and speed that usually got me the 1.4 mile estimation.
Does the watch/software learn to estimate better based on GPS runs/cadence data? Or was this a fluke?
Sorry for the long post. :) Thanks all!
