Vivoactive 3 Ski App - Always Vibrating on Start stop

Hey Skiing Peeps , I just got a new Garmin Vivoactive and love it , but it vibrates when i start and stop each run in the ski mode which drains the battery ... Does anyone know how to stop via the settings ... LMKNOW ... Ivorski ... If not I will strap it to my leg for a massage

    I think the little vibrate buzz is to let you know about the auto start and stop tracking. It also notices when you're on a lift and differentiates it from the downhill. On a recent ski trip I set vibration level to low and GPS tracking to Smart (Smart is ok for skiing, not ok for running, IMO). After 4 hours skiing the battery was at 50-60% remaining so there should be plenty of juice to go the whole day.

    Maybe disabling AutoRun would cut out the vibrate? As well as other stuff.

    (Mine is a va3m so battery life may be different to va3.)
