Troubled Venu: slow, freezes, battery drain.

For a week or so I have been noticing a delay on my Venu watch, when swiping. According to my Connect Mobile app i climbed 670 stairs today. If only!

And sometimes my Venu  just freezes! Severe battery drain too. From 100 - 33 % percent;   within 5 hours. 

What is going on here ? I have read all the troubleshoots and went through all the steps but it keeps on happening.

I bought my first Venu watch last November and had it replaced after several months by Garmin as there was something wrong with the battery. So I had to return it in March 2020. 

My replacement, the second watch, was working just fine except for the hacking episode at least until last week. Have gone through all the troubleshooting procedures but to no avail. 

Please oh please advise me on what to do for this the second Venu watch that I am trying out. Would find it a great shame to have to return it for a refund.
