Venu display “always on” isnt always on

I just got a garmin venu, which i love! However, I selected “always on” for when im running and the screen either dims or goes to sleep mode. Ive tried switching gesture on and off. How do I keep the screen on without dimming or switching off?

Try switching to another watchface (Garmin default), it did the trick for me for the all the time always on display, so i guess it should fix your issue too

any chance you can share the name of watch face you use? I have AOD on, but the garmin face i use still dims

It will dim vs turning blank with Always on.

In the case of CIQ watchfaces when in low power, no more than 10% of the pixels can be on, and no single pixel can be on for more than 3 minutes

I'm using the Crystal watchface myself. It supports AOD and if you're familiar with programming, it's on github so you can fork it and modify to your liking.
