Same here on my new Vivoactive 4s. According to some forums this seems to have been an issue for several months.
Same issue let’s hope customer support is a better experience than the Venu has been up to this point
I had the same issue as everyone on this thread. Followed your solution of turning on auto-update through the watch settings, with the addition of deleting and re-connecting my WiFi network. SOLVED! Thank…
Same issue on venu, error 010. Bought garmin only due to Spotify, total flop. Fix this asap and revert back!
I have the same issue. It does not matter what wifi im trying to connetct, because the wifi search on the Venu is putting the error 101 code.
And from the app the connection is not working either.
Hi everyone, I got a brand new Venu watch and I got solved this issue by changing my wifi security, I was using WEP security and I changed to WPA-PSK, after this modification I got connected successfully. Seems that Garmin watches does not support wep wifi security.
Good luck guys!
Hello!
I am having the same kind of problem with VivoActive 4 (just bought it)
Here are the details asked:
- Nitrospar
- WPA2-PSK
- 2 4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies supported
- No settings have been customized
- No
- Bluetooth connection is OK
- Yes
Hope this issue is solved asap!
Thanks!
I had this problem and solved it by making my wifi visible (wi-fi SSID was configured to be hidden in the router settings but I disabled this setting), didn't even need to restart the watch or re-add the wifi, it started to work right after I made the SSID visible.
In addition to the previous comment, GPS does not work!
