For CIQ WF, the best thing to do may be to find one you like and contact the devleoper (there's a link in the app store to do that) and ask this bee added. I've been gradually additing is to mine, but only have one in the store so far - Simple Big https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/3d8dd9a3-a90c-45b0-8170-043161dfc26f
I got a few more I'll be updating in the store this week.
Thank you. I've got yours! I was wondering about others.
Depending on the watch face, it's not hard to do. Just things like watching the percentage of pixels that are on and finding a way that no single pixel is on more that 3 minutes. That's why with mine, the time moves around the screen.
Crystal apparently has an always on display as well
So, I'm starting to update my watchfaces with "always on" support. It's a great feature!
Here's my analogue watchface "B-UHR" that supports this feature;

This does reduce battery life somewhat! From 5 days down to about 2.5 days.
Nice, I like that one, downloaded!
Here's another, called "DIN"

In Data Lover you're able to configure in the app settings which extra data to show while in always on mode.
With Simple Lean, I have two options for "always on". The default is the time moves on the screen to prevent burn in. With the second option, the time stays in the same place, but is dimmer - I turn off 1/2 the pixels each time the time is displayed, so no pixel is on for more than 1 minute.
One thing to note is if you take off the watch, the display will turn off with "always on" displays. They use OHR to turn off the display if the watch isn't being worn to preserver battery.
