Hi, how often (every few minutes, once in an hour, ....) was that message displayed on the watch till you freed some space please?

it wasn't displayed on the watch. It was generated by Garmin Express when trying to install the update. Removing 800kb of watchfaces solved my issue

I'm asking because I would like to use "full internal storage" as a solution to break auto-update firmware process, see here, so I was curious how often I'll have to dismiss that msg on the watch in the time the new firmware will be forced to install :)

you would not have that issue at all. If you want to prevent big updates, add 8 watchfaces and that's all... you would have 5.8mb left free.

Obviously if the update is smaller, it would deploy.

There's more than 7GB of space available on the internal storage of my Venu2 - so I had to fill the space with something else than watchfaces :) 

Ah, you have the music version, i guess. The normal has a total of 16mb of storage space

As far as I know there is only Venu2 "music version" available (I know this is Venu SQ forum, but from the forced firmware updates point of view it should be the same)
