ConnectIQ issue.. failed to save config

When changing settings on ciq faces it can take 3 or 4 attempts to save any changes.  While the change has actually been accepted on the watch and you can see the change, the app will time out, say an error has occurred, try again...

This is getting pretty annoying now.  I've tried resetting the watch and reinstalling the ciq app (android btw).  I've also noticed when opening the ciq app my watch gives me a disconnected alert, quickly followed by a connected alert.

C'mon garmin,  I honestly thought you might have tested the software properly before releasing the watch...
