Screen Frozen, Not Responding, or Gesture and Touch Do Not Work

i bought a lily a few days ago. as soon as I go to the sun the screen no longer lights up either with the movement of the hand or by typing

beta 4.91 improves the situation a bit. but it is not yet perfect. as soon as I go into the sun the screen goes out. and the watch restarts when I get home. the only improvement is I no longer need to plug in the watch for it to wake up.

Every couple of days my Garmin Lily just stops working! It is only 3 weeks old. I have to wait until I go home to connect it to the charge cable to restart. It is not flat when this happens. I can be sitting still and reading or like today on a walk. One time it vibrated for about 60 seconds then died. Was 75% charged. I like the watch but is so unreliable. Is there any fix? Or is mine just faulty!

Got my Lily a few days ago, and been having the same gesture and tapping issues. Connecting it to charger helps, bit when I use The watch The issue occurs after a few hours.

Settings:

Gesture always on

Sensitivity high

Time out long

Live in Sweden.

I too have this same problem. I returned the first lily watch thinking it was a defect in that watch but my second lily shutting down when I am outside playing tennis. Will not respond until I attach it to the charger.

I am having this same issue - is there a software update or fix? I bought this watch for my wife and it has continued to do this about 3 times a day - The watch is less than 72 hours out of the box (US).

I recently bought my Garmin Lily and now having this same issue. The gesture mode is set to always on and gesture sensitivity is set to high. SW version is 4.70. No amount of waving or wrist movement triggers the gesture feature.
