How can a temporary user use the scale?

I'm the only person with a garmin account in the house. Anyone that uses the scale is getting recorded as me, no matter if they are 15lbs heavier or lighter. How can they use the scale and not have it record their weight at all. Whenever someone steps on the scale it shows my initials. What are guest or someone that just steps on the scale to check out supposed to do so it does not record to my initials?

By tapping on the scale while your name is blinking, it should rotate to a temporary user (indicated by a question mark if I remember correctly). You need to do this within the 2-3 seconds it's blinking. The data will not be remembered anyway, only shown on the scale.
