Firstly, I've updated the firmware to 31.33 and the European map to 2026.11. Then I created a route on Garmin Connect, synced it with my Garmin Edge, and went for a ride. However, the navigation isn’t working well at all. Whether it’s the text at the top of the screen or the voice prompts, it just keeps telling me to “Continue on the street…” but never whether I should turn right or left… I have to constantly look at the map, which isn’t very convenient. I don’t know how it’s supposed to work since this was my first time using it, but in the YouTube videos I watched, users got actual turn alerts; here, I didn’t get a single one. Plus, I keep hearing the same voice prompt over and over as I approach a turn: “In 150 meters, continue on the street…,” “In 100 m, continue on the street…,” “In 70 m, continue on the street…,” “In 60 m, continue on the street…,,” etc. (My Edge is in French, so the sentences above are a translation; it might also be: “rinding on” or something else) Even when driving at 30 km/h, I’ve already passed the turn, yet the alerts keep coming over and over until the voice finally just says “Continue on the street...” without specifying a distance... This doesn’t seem like normal behavior to me. I have the very latest firmware version: 31.33, and the latest “TopoActive Europe” 2026.11 map. I also tested it by selecting a destination directly on the Garmin Edge (so without using a preset route made with garmin connect but letting it calculate a route), and the problem is the same. Are you having the same issue? Do you know how to fix it? Thanks PS : If this helps, here is a list of the installed (and activated) maps: Worldwide DEM Basemap, NR v9 TopoActive Europe, West 2026.11 Garmin DEM Map Europe 2026.10 TopoActive Europe, East 2026.11 Garmin Cycle Map EU 2024.10, East Garmin Cycle Map EU 2024.10, West Garmin Geocode Map Europe 2026.10 TopoActive Europe, Central 2026.11 Trailforks 2025.20 Garmin Cycle Map EU 2024.10, Central Garmin ClimbPro EU, Central 1 2026.10 Garmin ClimbPro EU, East 2026.10 Garmin CimbPro EU, Central 2 2026.10 Garmin ClimbPro EU, West 2026.10

Forum Post: RE: Edge Explore 2 update for Bosch eBike

while we wait for official solution can I interest you with a homegrown one I made for myself seeing that there's no movement on smart watch support for Bosch? The issue is that somehow the navigation stuff went wrong and now I'm left with a 0.01 km activity after a 100km ride (even a PR maybe). I tried several online fit file tools, but while I'm able to see that there are in fact events for the whole ride contained in the file, I found no way to reconstruct the actual activity. Please see the attached file which I copied of my Edge 1040. Is there any way to salvage the activity data from the file? ... and as a related question, how can I get rid of that dialog - it seems dangerous to me. forums.garmin.com/.../2026_2D00_07_2D00_11_2D00_08_2D00_36_2D00_43.fit.zip

Forum Post: RE: Grade calculations

No, I don't.
