Brand New Vector 3 are not working

I just picked up these brand new vector 3 pedals from authorized retail shop. Follow the Garmin instruction video but nothing is working. No light and nothing at all!!! Please advise. Any instant solution?

No lights at all suggests no power source. Have you unscrewed battery compartments and checked batteries?

Yup. I have done that and still dead. I will bring them back to the retail shop and check it out. Otherwise, will return them.

I am very surprised. The batteries are dead! Brand new units from authorized retailer!
