I thought this might be useful to identify what battery doors you have. 1 is the original ones, 2 is the first update, 3 is the most recent update.
Unfortunately for Garmin there are first class and second class countries. As for me, and this CODI-19 crisis will teach us many things and one of them will be to value what is done in each country, or…
I understand you, that's why I find very hard to buy other garmin products in the future. I will use what I have until it dies.
Unfortunately I still do not havy any mail from Garmin regarding the new covers therefore even no covers are with me. I am thinking to send a mesage to Garmin support later on
I have just been out on my first ride since receiving and installing the new battery doors and pcb's.
I didn't get any "Right Power Sensor Missing" alerts during my ride which is promising...I only rode for about an hour but previously I would be getting these alerts constantly during a ride.
After checking the data on Garmin Connect after the ride I noticed in the L/R Balance data that there were a few 100% L / 0% R dots on both pedals....bit i'm guessing these are normal when stopping pedalling and still having some weight on the pedals?
Will report back after a few more rides with any more info.
I'm really afraid to install the new battery cover with circuit board, what if I destroy something then I have no guarantee?
My problem: i have really to left hands, i am not a mechanical workman
It’s a very simple process. And on Garmins support site they have also posted a YouTube video showing the process.

I am having the same as you, I guess that's correct it could happen that you just push the pedal with only one leg. stopping, starting the ride or going to corners and accelerating ...
It's not at all unexpected to have a sample of 100% torque left or right when you come to a stop or when you first start riding again. This does not affect your overall balance report in any significant way.
I order my battery cover in 19-03-2020 and until today nothing, no reply to my order, no battery covers, zero.
This in Europe Portugal/Spain, Garmin believe that is the last equipment that I buy with your brand
The same here. Ordered new covers 19 days ago. Still not received any battery covers.
hmm, I sent a question tu support answer was quick, ask local dealer in Czech republic, so I did. So far no answer from them and on the Czech Garmin pages is no info about the covers at all. So I can not order them even without the discount code what you mention.
