3.80 Firmware

I updated today, no problems, about 5 mins in total and got the confirmation 20 green flashes afterwards. I updated vis the Garmin App and the app still says a firmware update is available as does Garmin Connect on my mac, even though its says current firmware 3.80, new firmware available 3.80 ???? Also My Edge 820 confirms that the installed firmware in my V3's is 3.80 and no software update is available.

Bit confused. 20 mile test ride, no problems and the readings seem accurate etc.

I have tried many times to apply the 3.80 update via my Edge 1030. It never works.

What kind of *** is this? This is my 2nd 1030, given that I had an out-of-warranty model with both the “halo” problem…

Same problem here, garminconnect.com states lates vsn 3.80 same as my version but in the iOS app (version 12.x) the garminconnect app insists to update once again the pedals. There were two major updates, 3.68 and 3.80 so I gave the chance to update twice, however the app keeps looping on "Firmware Update Available"...

Garmin: some appropriate s/w QC needed ?

Same behavior here when 3.60 was released.

Apply the update once and then ignore the app notification and let the Garmin Connect "to sync" is my advice.

Same Problem here- really a shame that Garmin does not seem to care to answer to that!

Pretty damn poor performance for a multi-hundred-dollar device that is, ostensibly, their flagship product.
