Vector 3 software version 3.68 Beta

A new Beta software for the Vector 3 has been released. Full change log, instructions, and software for installing the beta can be found here.

Notes:

  • There will be no ability to downgrade if you choose to apply the Beta build. Once you have upgraded, you will have to keep the Beta firmware on your Vectors until there is a production release or another Beta release.
  • For any issues that you encounter please fill out the form included in the download and attach it to an email to [email protected]. Please note that you may not get a response to the email unless we need more information on the issue you report.
  • If we require information to troubleshoot a reported issue, we will request you to send us an activity file at your discretion. Files sent to Garmin will be handled according to our privacy policy. More information about Garmin's privacy policies can be found at: www.garmin.com/privacy
  • To apply this SW to your Vector 3 or 3S pedals you will need one of the following Garmin head units
    • Edge 520
    • Edge 530
    • Edge 820
    • Edge 830
    • Edge 1000
    • Edge 1030
  • Although this software is believed to be reliable, it has not yet been released for production and should be used at your own risk.

Changes made from version 3.60 to 3.68:

  • Fixed power and cadence spikes over ANT+ and BLE
  • Prevent pedals from getting unintentionally unlinked
  • Fixed right sensor missing error appearing during a coast
  • Fixed power spikes due to missed messages from the right pedal
  • Fixed large balance drop outs
  • Fixed issue where power would go to 0 Watts over BLE
  • Fixed power spikes while coasting over BLE
  • Fixed power spikes when BLE connects while riding
  • Fixed potential cadence spikes after a short coast
  • Improved pedal wake-up detection
  • Improved communication to Garmin Connect Mobile
