Vector 3 falling apart - Second time

Has anyone else had an issue with the pedal body shifting off the axle?
This is now the second time its happened, both times about 9 months apart.

I can see no reason for it, only happens on one side.
Im not heavy on pedals otherwise, 80kg rider, no crazy sprint (1200-1300w max)

Contact Garmin support. It looks like the pedal body did not get enough locktite applied during the assembly process. They should be able to supply you with a new pedal body.

Yep.

I'm on my second set too. Noticed a stiff lhs pedal and a 3 mm gap between body. I haven't even used them much since replacement due to travel and surgery. Surely this could be better?

That pedal body needs replacing. I would guess that the loctite was not added in the manufacturing process. Garmin support should replace that pedal body for you.

I had this happen to my first set. It started with the right pedal failing to connect reliably. Inspection of the pedal revealed a 1-2mm gap between the pedal body and the cartridge.
