Blazer41 no I haven't but there was a recent post on here where somebody with a leaky Garmin swim used PTFE tape on the seal for that with success so I expect it would work for Vector too
Garmin-Matthew I just want to thank you for the proactive and unsolicited response to my post. The small threading burr you noticed on a photograph of my pedals appears to be the issue causing improper seating of th o-ring and o-ring breakage. Amazing customer service and unlike other companies that would look to find blame elsewhere, my experience thus far has been great with the customer service. I have several of your fitness related products and although many of the are not perfect out of the gate your company strives to rectify the situation...well done!
No, do not use plumbers tape under any circumstances as it may cause permanent damage to the threads in the pedal body..If you have broken or lost the spare o-rings that came with your pedals please contact Garmin Support.
If there is a need to use Plumbers Silicone Tape, there is most likely a problem with your Vector 3 pedals. Please reach out to Garmin Product Support for assistance with this.
