Hello!
I've just got one V3 and have the same issue. Today's ride showed a balance of L56/R44% that sounds unusual for me. My former V2 always returned L51/R49% constantly. Please, could you advise? Link with fit file follows:
There is something wrong with your hyperlink...
There is one reset on the eft pedal but that is the only internal anomaly. THe data reception is not great, which may indicate there is radio interference. If you have your pedals linked to the Garmin Connect Mobile app on your phone, try removing your pedals from the application's device list.
The difference in right/left may also be due to the zero offset somehow being corrupted. Ensure you do a zero offset using your head unit when you start riding.
t_smit,
Thanks for your prompt feedback. I'll do a trainer session tonight to check how does it behave. Get back to you when data is available. Thanks!
Pedro
Here it goes my trainer data after FW update:
Hello, I had and still having a similar "problem". When i am riding around 200W and less the reading on right pedal is less then the left one ( around 20W). When i start push it a bit more 250+ W the readings is "same" or some times on the right pedal even bigger. But to be fair enough i have my right leg a bit shorter so I am using around 1,4mm washer on my right shoe. I do not know if is best solution but power readings are mich more stable now.
Hello t_smit,
I have a similar issue with my Vector 3, my power balance has always been 50-50 with a 1-2% variance, and all of of sudden, for the last few months, my balance has gone to 43-57 with a 1-2% variance
Is there any way to look at the fit file and see if there is any problem with my left pedal?
It is not at all uncommon to have an effort-dependent difference in how much you engage each leg even if there is no underlying orthopedic condition (such as a leg length difference).
From the pedals' point of view, it is important to have them tight enough (25 N-m spindle torque is recommended but over 15 N-m will give you consistent results) and to do a zero calibration at least once in a while (at the start of every ride is recommended).
