I'm trying to mount my RCT715 on my Pinarello Prince. The seat post is 43mm front to back, and 12mm wide at the back. The round rubber pad seems to be the best fit on the seat post. But I cannot stretch the large band far enough to secure the mount to the seat post. The Garmin video on installation shows the person mounting the unit stretching the band to a pretty impressive degree, but mine is too stiff to stretch as far as I need to go.
I have sent Garmin Support an email describing my problem.
Any tips or ideas?
